Nurlan Yermekbayev， Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization （SCO）， Attending the 2023 Smart China Expo

From September 3 to 5， Nurlan Yermekbayev， Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization （SCO）， and his delegation were invited to Chongqing to attend the Smart China Expo 2023. This visit marked his first visit to Chongqing.

While in Chongqing， Mr. Nurlan Yermekbayev attended the opening ceremony and summit of the Smart China Expo. He also had discussions with Li Mingquan， Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government， regarding enhancing cooperation between the SCO and Chongqing.

He noted that at the opening ceremony and the summit of the Expo， several speakers delivered inspiring speeches about digital technology and the smart industry， which has ignited his interest and attention towards smart technologies. SCO member states are increasingly focusing on cooperation in the field of digital technology. He expressed his willingness to enhance collaboration in emerging industries like new energy vehicles and smart technology， building on the already strong foundation of interaction between the SCO and Chongqing.

Besides， Mr. Nurlan Yermekbayev also took a visit to the China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing， where he delved into Chongqing’s historical development and the progress of its social development.

9月3日至5日，上海合作組織副秘書長葉爾梅克巴耶夫一行應(yīng)邀來渝出席2023中國國際智能產(chǎn)業(yè)博覽會。

在渝期間，葉爾梅克巴耶夫出席智博會開幕式暨高峰會，并與重慶市政府外辦副主任李明全就不斷鞏固豐富上合組織與重慶交往合作內(nèi)涵等話題進(jìn)行了工作交流。

葉爾梅克巴耶夫表示，2023智博會開幕式暨高峰會上，多位嘉賓圍繞數(shù)字技術(shù)和智能產(chǎn)業(yè)所作的精彩發(fā)言，進(jìn)一步激發(fā)了他對智能科技的關(guān)注與興趣，上合組織國家日益重視數(shù)字技術(shù)領(lǐng)域合作，愿在上合組織與重慶已有的良好互動交往基礎(chǔ)上，推動在新能源汽車、智能技術(shù)等更多新興產(chǎn)業(yè)領(lǐng)域的交流合作。

此外，葉爾梅克巴耶夫還參訪了重慶中國三峽博物館，深入了解重慶歷史沿革和社會建設(shè)發(fā)展概況。
