1. if （it is） possible 如果有可能的話

I neither went to watch the football match nor cared about its result. 我既沒有去看那場(chǎng)足球比賽，也不在乎它的結(jié)果。

【拓展】

neither...nor...如果連接兩個(gè)名詞或代詞作主語，謂語動(dòng)詞的數(shù)應(yīng)遵循“就近原則”，即謂語動(dòng)詞的數(shù)和nor后的主語保持一致。

Neither you nor I am going to do it. 你和我都不打算做這件事。

3“. nomatter+特殊疑問詞”意為“無論……；不論……”，引導(dǎo)讓步狀語從句

You are always welcomed no matter where you are. 無論在何地，您總是會(huì)受到歡迎的。

No matter how hard it may be， I will carry it out. 無論此事有多難，我都會(huì)去做。

4.“be+of+抽象名詞”可用來描述人或事物的特征，此結(jié)構(gòu)在句中可作表語或定語

The two children are of the same age，but are of different heights. 這兩個(gè)孩子年齡相同，但身高不同。

【拓展】

“of+抽象名詞”可轉(zhuǎn)化為相應(yīng)的形容詞。

As we all know， having a balanceddiet is of great benefit to us. = As we allknow， having a balanced diet is beneficialto us. 眾所周知，均衡飲食對(duì)我們非常有益。

5.“the+比較級(jí)， the+比較級(jí)”結(jié)構(gòu)意為“越……越……”

The harder you work， the greater prog?ress you will make. 你越努力，你取得的進(jìn)步就會(huì)越大。
