Scientists have created something amazing that could change the way robotsfeel forever. Theyve invented a special skin that can allow robots to touch and feelthe world just like humans and animals do！

This new invention is called “e-skin”， and its made from a thin layer1 ofsilicone2 thats only 1 mm thick. In it there are detectors3 that can sense a rangeof movements.

The scientists tested the e-skin by fitting it to a soft robot arm. They found that thetechnology was able to sense different movements across every part of the robot arm.

This new invention can be used in many ways.

The e-skin can allow robots to be more precise4 and accurate5 in theirmovements and interactions6 with the world around them.
