在進(jìn)行書面表達(dá)時(shí),許多同學(xué)一看到“我認(rèn)為”,腦海中最先浮現(xiàn)的表達(dá)方法就是“I think”。事實(shí)上,除了最常用的“I think”外,還有其他不同的表達(dá)法。同學(xué)們,你們知道有哪些呢?對(duì)此,筆者進(jìn)行了歸納,以期對(duì)同學(xué)們的英語寫作有所幫助。
一、I suppose/ figure (that )
在英語中,I suppose/ figure(that)意為“我覺得,我認(rèn)為,我想”,比“I think”相對(duì)正式些。例如:
I suppose/figure prices will go up.
我認(rèn)為物價(jià)將會(huì)上漲。
I suppose/figure my English is good enough for the work.
我認(rèn)為我的英語水平足以完成這項(xiàng)工作。
I suppose/figure that different people like different things.
我想不同的人喜歡不同的事。
二、In my view/opinion
In my view/opinion,意為“在我看來,我認(rèn)為”,較為正式。例如:
In my view/opinion,social development brings lots of pollution.
在我看來,社會(huì)的發(fā)展帶來了很多污染。
In my view/opinion,keeping healthy is the most important thing in our daily life.
我認(rèn)為保持健康是我們?nèi)粘I钪凶钪匾氖隆?/p>
In my view/opinion, mothers love is the greatest love in the world.
我認(rèn)為母愛是世界上最偉大的愛。
三、In/From my point of view
In/From my point of view意為“從我的角度看,在我看來,我認(rèn)為”,可以用于正式或非正式場(chǎng)合中。例如:
In/From my point of view, modern technol-ogy is improving our life.
在我看來,現(xiàn)代技術(shù)正在改變我們的生活。
In/From my point of view,money can not exactly bring happiness.
在我看來,金錢并不一定能真正帶來幸福。
In/From my point of view, we should make friends without parents.
我認(rèn)為我們應(yīng)該和父母交朋友。
四、Personally speaking
Personally speaking意為“我個(gè)人認(rèn)為,就我個(gè)人來說”,在正式或非正式場(chǎng)合均可以使用。例如:
Personally speaking,changes are some-times unavoidable, but we can choose to be-come better and stronger.
我個(gè)人認(rèn)為,變化有時(shí)是不可避免的,但我們可選擇變得更好、更強(qiáng)。
Personally speaking,Beijing opera is a cul-tural symbol of Beijing.
我個(gè)人認(rèn)為京劇是北京的文化標(biāo)志。
Personally speaking,the most important quality of a person is a sense of responsibility.
我個(gè)人認(rèn)為,一個(gè)人最重要的品質(zhì)是責(zé)任感。
五、As far as I am concerned
As far as I am concerned意為“就我而言,我認(rèn)為”,常用于較為正式的場(chǎng)合。例如:
As far as I am concerned,we should take more care of our historic buildings.
我認(rèn)為,我們應(yīng)該愛護(hù)有歷史意義的建筑。
As far as I am concerned, doing some housework is a kind of physical exercise.
我認(rèn)為做家務(wù)是一種體育鍛煉。
As far as I am concerned,the biggest chal-lenge last year was the new way of learning dur-ing COVID-19.
就我而言,去年最大的挑戰(zhàn)就是新冠肺炎疫情期間新的學(xué)習(xí)方式
六、It seems to me that
It seems to me that意為“在我看來,我認(rèn)為”,可以用于正式場(chǎng)合,也可以用于非正式場(chǎng)合。例如:
It seems to me that the book is a rich seam of information.
我認(rèn)為,這本書是一座豐富的知識(shí)寶庫(kù)。
It seems to me that a change brings chal-lenges as well as opportunities.
在我看來,變化可能帶來挑戰(zhàn),也可以帶來機(jī)遇。
It seems to me that we students should help each other and progress together.
我認(rèn)為我們學(xué)生之間應(yīng)該互相幫助,共同進(jìn)步。
總之, “我認(rèn)為”的英語表達(dá)方式多種多樣。在平時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)中,同學(xué)們要注意多閱讀、多總結(jié)、多摘錄、多積累,這樣寫作時(shí)就能信手拈來。
