“What do you want to be, Eric?” asks Erics father.
“He wants to be a pianist,” says his mother.
“The greatest(最偉大的) pianist in the world.”
“Do I?” says Eric.
“Yes, you do,” says his mother.
Erics mother buys
Eric a piano.
And she makes him practise(練習) for two hours every day.
Eric doesnt like playing the piano.
He feels tired and cries.?
“Eric doesnt want to be a pianist,” says his father.
“He wants to be the best programmer(程序員) in the world.”
“Well ...” says Eric.
“Of course you do!” says his father.
“This new computer is for you. Let me teach you.”
Eric tries his best.
But the codes(代碼) are too difficult for him.
He cant understand(理解) and cries.
“Eric doesnt want to be a programmer,” says his sister.
“He wants to be the most famous dancer in the world.”
“Im telling you, he wants to be a fencer(擊劍運動員),” says Erics brother.
“He wants to be the Olympic champion.”
“Eric wants to be the greatest artist,” says Erics grandma.
“He wants to be the most famous politician(政治家),” says Erics grandpa.
“STOP!” shouts Eric.
“I want to be ...
I want to be ...”
“Well, what do you want to be, Eric?” asks his mother.
“I just want to be an ordinary(平凡的) boy,” says Eric.
And Eric is good at it.
He is really ordinary but happy.
