ASM Global and Marketplace Events are partnering in a content and programming alliance. As part of the deal, Marketplace Events will have access to ASMs team to simplify and streamline the event planning process and tap into its extensive marketing resources to drive increased exposure and growth in new markets.“The pandemic has shown us the importance of unique, live experiences and how much we value them”, ASM Global president and CEO Ron Bension said.“When Marketplace Events was approached to more closely align with ASM–a firm with deep industry resources and influence–we didnt hesitate”, Tom Baugh, CEO of Marketplace Events, said.“We believe this alliance will be a catalyst for growth for both MPE and ASM. Our new event launches in Houston and Jacksonville are just the beginning.”In March, ASM Global and Marketplace Events announced the launch of new annual home shows to take place at Houstons NRG Park every February and October, beginning in spring of 2022. The partners also announced a third annual home show to be held in the Jacksonville market, to take place beginning in May of 2022.
