情景對話

Conversation 1

A： Excuse me！ Can you tell me the way to the nearest public toilet？

B： Go straight ahead at the traffic lights and then turn right. Walk past the park， and keep going straight until you see the sign of public toilet.

A： Great， thank you.

B： Youre welcome.

Conversation 2

A： Excuse me！ Could you please tell me if there is a hospital near here？

C： Yes， theres one near here. Its on Fifth Avenue.

A： Sorry， I dont know how to get to Fifth Avenue.

C： Go along this road， turn left at the second traffic lights and go straight for two blocks. You can find the hospital.

A： By the way， how far is it from here to the hospital？

C： Its about 5 kilometers.

A： Its a bit far on foot. Is there any other way to get there？

C： You can go there by bus.

A： How long does it take to get there？

C： About 15 minutes.

A： OK， Ill take the bus.

C： Theres a bus stop across from the street.

A： Thank you.

C： Dont mention it.

C：是的，附近有一個。在第五大街上。

A：不好意思，我不知道怎么去第五大街。

C：沿著這條路走，在第二個紅綠燈處左轉(zhuǎn)，然后再走過兩個街區(qū)，你就能找到醫(yī)院了。

A：順便問一下，從這到醫(yī)院大概有多遠(yuǎn)呢？

C：大概5千米。

A：走路的話有點(diǎn)遠(yuǎn)，還有其他的交通方式去那里嗎？

C：你可以坐公交車過去。

A：大概要花多長時間？

C：大概要花15分鐘。

A：好的，那就坐公交車吧。

C：街道對面就有一個公交車站臺。

A：謝謝你。

C：別客氣。

Tips

1. 如何問路

Can you tell me the way to...？ 你能告訴我去……的路嗎？

How can I get to...？ 我要怎么樣去……？

Could you please tell me if there is...？ 請問附近是否有……？

2. 詢問距離

How far is it from here to...？ 從這到……有多遠(yuǎn)？

How long does it take to get there？ 到那兒要花多長時間？

3. 如何指路

Go straight ahead along the street and then turn right/ left. 沿著這條大街往前走，然后右/左轉(zhuǎn)。

Take No. 18 bus， and get off at the Peoples Square. 乘坐18路公交車，在人民廣場站下車。

Its on Fifth Avenue. 它在第五大街。

It takes about 5 minutes to get there. 到那兒大約要花5分鐘。
