Presenting the full color spectrum for Activewear Spring/Summer 2023 and Fall/Winter 2024. Everything is different now and this notion is reflected deeply in color and color application.
While still mainly neutral in orientation, our collection of core colors seems new and fresh, and it is more creative and nuanced than we are used to. Theis group also has more range than ever before from deep rich brown to vaporous cloud white.
Desert rose, golden green, and deep blue slate are interesting and alluring takes on traditional red, khaki, and blue. Teal shades become staples this year, moving up from their secondary placements in seasons past.
The second row speaks to the sentiment of a ”clean slate” while simultaneously touching on a weightless sense of escapism we are still drawn to. Silver represents this dual nature quite well as it hints at futuristic application, yet it can also embody a more spiritual temperament.
Secondary colors are also statement making in nature. Some of the confectionary accents from last year’s spectrum move into this category, signaling their importance in the market.Optical shades of blue provide bold highlights in the capsule collections. Undefined shades of cosmetic neutrals have chameleon like capabilities. Metallic champagne acts as core silver’s counterpart for dueling metallic energy in the full spectrum.
The range of reddened oranges assert themselves more seriously, providing heat and warmth compared to the more playful and cool notes of past hues and those that are held in the accent section.
Accent colors are the brightest and most curious we have forecasted in a while. Ranging from brilliantly saturated to funky mid-toned brights and dissolving takes on powdery neons.
