Life is full of ups and downs, including ups and downs of career, emotion and study. When my mother told me this, I always didnt believe it made any sense to me because I always thought my life would be smooth all the time. But when I look back on my life, I find that everything I have got through is just so?so.
I would like to share something I experienced last year with you. I have been dreaming about earning a masters degree and I have been always working hard so as to realize the dream. Through continuous efforts, I eventually succeeded in passing the National Postgraduate Entrance Examination. The time I got the good news that I was admitted to my dream school, I couldnt be happier and I even thought I was the most fortunate person in this world. And during the whole following summer holiday, I was immersed in imagining my colorful graduate life. In order to test my independence, I made up my mind to go to the city where my school was located on my own one day ahead of schedule.
I arrived at the hotel I had booked in advance alone the day before the new term began. But unluckily, I had caught a bad cold several days before the journey and it got even worse after riding throughout the day. I found that I had a fever and then I took some pills to reduce the fever. But the temperature rose very high, and all that night I had great difficulty in falling asleep. I felt very lonely and helpless, unable to do anything but shed tears, and considered it as the most difficult challenge that I had ever faced. However, when I thought of my parents experiences of difficulties, I told myself “tomorrow is another day”, and then I got the courage to overcome the difficulty and finally I got up and took the taxi to see a doctor at 2:00 am.

二、閱讀續(xù)寫開頭語,進(jìn)行續(xù)寫構(gòu)思
基于原文本和續(xù)寫段落首句提供的信息并結(jié)合以上閱讀分析,采用圍繞中心提問相關(guān)問題的方法,構(gòu)思要續(xù)寫的兩段故事情節(jié),一般分為三步:
第一步,根據(jù)續(xù)寫第二段所給出的段首句倒推續(xù)寫第一段應(yīng)包括什么內(nèi)容。
分析第二段的段首句內(nèi)容“當(dāng)我的父母看到我,他們立即向我沖過來”可知,續(xù)寫第一段要寫醫(yī)生聯(lián)系作者的父母的內(nèi)容,這樣才能確保續(xù)寫的兩段是相銜接的。
第二步,圍繞續(xù)寫第一段所給出的段首句以及上面的分析進(jìn)行提問構(gòu)思:
(1)What was the result of the authors visit to the hospital?
(2)How did the author feel when she learned the result?
(3)What did the authors parents do for her?
第三步,圍繞續(xù)寫第二段所給出的段首句進(jìn)行提問構(gòu)思:

三、潤色成篇
在續(xù)寫的過程中要注意情節(jié)連貫,各部分內(nèi)容相銜接,即:1. 兩段的續(xù)寫與所給短文的銜接;2. 每段的續(xù)寫與續(xù)寫段首句之間的銜接;3. 續(xù)寫的兩段之間的銜接。同時(shí)要注意語言風(fēng)格的一致和語法、句型以及所用詞語的準(zhǔn)確性。
