“I will keep them all for Mom,” said he and he? ? 10? ? them up nicely till he should go home.

Gene and Marie Marsden took pride in being good citizens (公民) when in the wild. While driving miles to the Green River Lakes area, they taught their children the rules theyd learned in the bear safety handbook (手冊) put out by the Bridger■Teton Forest Service. The NO. 1 rule was “Dont feed the bears!” They warned the kids not to go anywhere near a bear.
Mr. and Mrs. Marsden did their best to keep a tidy camp. While the handbook had said to hang all food at least ten feet off the ground, they did that and locked their food in their car at night. Being sure nothing was left out, they went to bed.
Gene says he now regrets not having taken their dog Spike into the tent at night, but they liked having him on guard. On the night of the encounter (相遇), Spike could not stop barking, and Marie knew he must be sounding the alarm on something more dangerous. When she looked out of the tent, she saw a young bear.
They all got into the car and drove quickly down the road. They drove to a pay phone twenty miles away and called the Fish and Game Department. Then the Marsdens were told that the bear was a young male that theyd been keeping an eye on.
After spending the night in the public camp ground, they drove back to their site (地點(diǎn)). After searching for clues, Marie came to a stop below a tallest tree. She hit her head and shouted, “Oh no!”
“What is it?” Gene asked.
Marie pointed at the ground where Spikes dog food bowl lay upside down.
A week after their return home, the Marsdens read the report in their local paper. According to the article, the Fish and Game Department had shot the young bear because, having been re-warded for invading (侵入) a human camp site, it would likely do so again.
The Marsdens knew they had been lucky in the encounter, yet much to their shame and sadness, they also knew that the bear had not.

Two graduates from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom found themselves about to graduate, yet with loans to pay off. The pair decided to begin a strange, year■long project to deal with the loan.
The men, Ross Harper and Edward Moyse, set up the website BuyMyFace.com last October as a way to get rid of the £50,000 they shared as student loans. The idea behind the project was to earn money by selling their faces as advertising space every day for a year. Each day, they advertise a different business by painting the brands name or logo onto their faces and upload (上傳) the pictures to the homepage of BuyMyFace.com, adding a link to the advertisers website and including a short piece of text about it. After they paint their faces and publish them on the website, Harper and Moyse go out to highly populated areas such as music festivals and parks to show their faces as much as possible. They hope more people will pay attention to the advertisements on their faces.
At this time, Harper and Moyse have advertised their faces for over four months without skipping a day and theyre more than halfway to their goal. Though they first started charging about £1.60 per company, the prices have risen as they became more and more popular. For advertising space during the rest of April, they range between £250 and £750.
Terri L. Rittenburg, a professor of marketing at the University of Wyoming, said that she had heard of people tattooing (紋身) logos on themselves before, but this idea is much better. According to her, at first the idea would be new and unusual and attract attention. People are interested in this special style of advertisement and would like to try what they advertise. But she is unsure how long it would last.
At least for now, companies that have bought Harper and Moyses faces have written positive comments (評論) on the pairs website. “We had a three percent increase in website traffic on the very day and for two days more afterwards,” said one of the companies.
