such與so表示“如此”“這樣”的意思，出現(xiàn)的頻率極高。你會(huì)正確使用such與so嗎？今天我們就來(lái)學(xué)一學(xué)。

一、such的主要結(jié)構(gòu)：

1. such+a/an+adj.+可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)

如：I have never watched such an exciting match.

我從來(lái)沒(méi)有看過(guò)這么令人激動(dòng)的比賽。

2. such+adj.+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)

如：She walked in with such beautiful flowers in her hands.

她雙手拿著如此美麗的花走進(jìn)來(lái)了。

3. such+adj.+不可數(shù)名詞

如：We have to stay at home in such hot weather.

天氣這么熱，我們不得不待在家里。

有時(shí)候，上述結(jié)構(gòu)中不出現(xiàn)形容詞。

如：They do not have enough money for such an operation.

他們沒(méi)有足夠的錢(qián)做這樣的手術(shù)。

二、so的主要結(jié)構(gòu)：

1. so+adj./adv.

如：Your school is so beautiful.

你們的學(xué)校如此漂亮。

He always does his homework so carefully.

他做作業(yè)總是這么認(rèn)真。

2. so+adj.+a/an+可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)

如：My cousin Tom is so strong a boy.

我的表弟湯姆是如此強(qiáng)壯的一個(gè)男孩。

3. so+many/few+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)

如：Betty is very excited to see so many presents on her desk.

貝蒂看到桌上這么多的禮物，非常激動(dòng)。

4. so+much/little+不可數(shù)名詞

這里little的意思是“少量的”。

如：Tony is unhappy because there is so little milk in the bottle.

因?yàn)槠孔永锏呐Ｄ烫倭?，托尼不開(kāi)心。

此外，little如果譯為“小的”意思，不可以用于此結(jié)構(gòu)，要用such來(lái)修飾。

如：Look！ The lion is chasing such little deer.

看！這頭獅子正在追捕這么小的鹿。

三、so， such常與that從句連用，譯為“如此……以致于……”。

如：Nick is so generous that everyone likes him.

尼克如此的慷慨大方以致于每個(gè)人都喜歡他。

It is such an interesting film that I want to see it again.

這是一部如此有趣的電影以致于我想再看一次。
