Recently the diesel hydrotreating catalyst RS-2200 and the gas oil hydrotreating catalyst RN-410 developed by SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP) have been successfully applied at Thailand'haIRPC refinery after passing the calibration tests to further establish the dazzling brands of SINOPEC catalysts in countries embracing the o of Petroleum nitiatives”i The diesel hydrotreating catalyst RS-2200 is a diesel hydrodesulfurization (HDS) catalyst with low bulk density and high stability capable of realizing extremely deep sulfur removal rate at low hydrogen consumption.The gas oil hydrotreating catalyst RN-410 is a newgeneration gas oil HDS-HDN catalyst with higher stability and stronger sulfur removal performance. The successful application of these two kinds of hydrotreating catalysts has demonstrated the competitive edge of RIPP's catalyst portfolio in the international arena, which can set up a good foundation for developing its overseas market and win a good reputation for Sinopec's international business development.
