Topic Summary：

The past few years have witnessed the rapid development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). To better meet the increasing demands of real applications, UAVs are expected to support intelligent autonomous control, real-time navigation and surveillance, and broadband airborne communication. In this special issue, we aim to explore these emerging technical research outcomes. The areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

● UAV swarm control

● Collaborative distributed decision making of UAVs

● See/Sense-Detect-and-Avoid systems of UAVs

● Coordination control of heterogeneous unmanned system

● High-accuracy localization and navigation of UAVs
