小黃人逆襲成功，翻身做主角咯！

電影《小黃人》是賣座動畫《神偷奶爸》的衍生長片，集中講述小黃人們在遇到格魯之前的漫長歷史：在遇到格魯之前，這群小東西可謂“成事不足敗事有余”，幾乎害死了每一任主人——從霸王龍、埃及法老，到拿破侖，甚至還包括357歲的吸血鬼。在和平年代，這群小黃人漸漸找不到自己的主人，慢慢地陷入了憂傷之中。不過，有三名小黃人開始了自己的新計劃——他們要找到最強大的新主人，并且輔佐他的作惡事業(yè)。

為了了解小黃人的前世今生，《時代》雜志兒童版（Time for Kids，以下簡稱TFK）采訪了本片的其中一位導(dǎo)演——皮埃爾·科芬。不說不知道，原來小黃人就是由他配音的！

Though he had been working in childrens animation[動畫片] for years， director Pierre Coffin accidentally ended up as the voice actor for all of the minions in Despicable Me， Despicable Me 2， and now， Minions. After helping create the iconic[象征意義的] look of the lovable henchmen[追隨者] for Despicable Me， he recorded a sample of what the minions might sound like for the movies producer. To his surprise， he was immediately cast[選……扮演角色] in the part—which turned into more than 100 parts over time.

Once the minions became so popular， Coffin and the other creators of the first two Despicable Me movies decided it was time to come up with a backstory[背景] for the beloved[心愛的] creatures. They created Minions to explain who and what these naughty little creatures are and where they come from.

Minions is a prequel[前篇]， set in a time before the minions became Grus henchmen. The story mostly takes place in 1968. It follows the three main characters， Kevin， Stuart， and Bob， in their quest for a new master after the minions accidentally killing off so many of their leaders.

“These guys have always been around and theyve always been searching for an evil[邪惡的] master，” Coffin told TFK.

盡管導(dǎo)演皮埃爾·科芬多年來參與了各種少兒動畫的制作，沒想到他最后卻意外地成為了《神偷奶爸》、《神偷奶爸2》以及現(xiàn)在的《小黃人》中所有小黃人的幕后配音。科芬參與創(chuàng)作了《神偷奶爸》中這些可愛跟班的標(biāo)志性造型，隨后他給電影制片人錄了一段小黃人的聲音樣板。令他吃驚的是，他馬上入選演員陣容——他的聲音更逐漸演變成一百多個角色。

小黃人爆紅以后，科芬以及前兩部《神偷奶爸》的主創(chuàng)人員馬上決定，是時候為這些人見人愛的小東西創(chuàng)作一個背景故事了。于是他們制作了《小黃人》一片來解釋這些淘氣的小家伙的身世和來歷。

《小黃人》是一部前傳，時間設(shè)在小黃人成為格魯跟班之前。故事主要發(fā)生在1968年，講述了三個主角——凱文、斯圖爾特和鮑勃在小黃人意外害死眾多領(lǐng)頭人以后，尋找新主人的故事。

“這些小家伙一直都存在，并不停地尋找邪惡的主人。”科芬對TFK說道。

TFK： How did the minions as we know them come to be？

Coffin： Originally[原先]， the minions were drawn as these big muscular thugs[暴徒]. We couldnt go that way because it was ugly. So we went to little guys in overalls[工裝褲]， like humans， but very small. Then， we had the idea that maybe they were subterranean[地下的] creatures， so thats where the goggles[護目鏡] came from， but we kept the overalls. They became these sort of frog-like characters. We realized those guys were pretty ugly， too， so the designer came up with their basic pillshape.

Also， there were only a couple of scenes with the minions. When we saw the first animation test， I remember saying， “Oh man， these guys are awesome. Theyre very expressive and funny. Weve got to find more places for them in the movie.” Around then， Steve Carell （who plays Gru） came up with the idea of naming all of them.

TFK：我們現(xiàn)在認(rèn)識的小黃人是怎樣來的呢？

科芬：一開始，小黃人被設(shè)計成那種身形龐大的肌肉型暴徒。我們不能那樣做，因為太丑了。于是我們選擇了穿工裝褲的小人，和人一樣，但體形非常小。而后，我們產(chǎn)生了“也許它們是地下生物”的想法，護目鏡就是從這里來的，但我們保留了工裝褲，然后它們就變成類似青蛙的角色。我們發(fā)現(xiàn)那些小家伙還是挺丑的，于是設(shè)計師就想出了藥丸的基本造型。

另外，原本小黃人只有幾個鏡頭。當(dāng)我們第一次看到動畫片的試片后，我記得我說：“噢伙計，這些家伙棒極了。它們相當(dāng)有表現(xiàn)力，很搞笑，我們要在電影里多給它們一些鏡頭?！睕]過多久，史蒂夫·卡瑞爾（格魯?shù)呐湟簦┚拖氲揭o所有小黃人取名字。

TFK： Whats it like now that theyve become so popular？

Coffin： It is heartwarming[暖人心房的] to see how loved these guys are， but its also scary to see them as much as we do. Theyre everywhere： on bags， phone cases， schoolbooks…Its almost overwhelming[強悍而令人難以應(yīng)對的].

TFK： What language do the minions speak exactly？ Is it just gibberish[胡言亂語]？

Coffin： Its a mix of Spanish， French， English， Russian， Korean， Japanese， Chinese， Indonesian…The idea was to make these characters as international as possible. The main concept of the minion movie is to show that they served all of the evil masters around the world throughout time， so it would make sense that they have this mishmash[混雜物] of different languages embedded[使嵌入] in their own language.

TFK： Do people often ask you to do the minionsvoice？

Coffin： I cant really do it offhand[即時地]. Weirdly[古怪地] enough， I do write out the words that Im going to say because when you speak this kind of foreign nonsensical[無意義的] language， you have to repeat it over and over so that it feels natural， like a real language. I write it down and basically record myself over and over until the moment that it feels natural， which isnt the easiest thing to do with words that dont mean anything.

TFK：現(xiàn)在它們這么受歡迎，你有何感受呢？

科芬：看到這些小家伙如此受寵，我感到很欣慰;但經(jīng)?？吹剿鼈冇钟X得有點嚇人。哪里都是它們——在包包上、手機殼上、課本上……好像有點過了。

TFK：小黃人說的究竟是什么語言？或者只是亂說一通？

科芬：那是西班牙語、法語、英語、俄語、韓語、日語、漢語、印尼語等各種語言的混合體。我們的想法是讓這些角色盡可能國際化。小黃人電影的主要構(gòu)思是展示它們一直以來效忠過世界各地的各種邪惡主人，所以它們的語言當(dāng)中凌亂地混雜著不同語言也很合理。

TFK：大家經(jīng)常叫你扮小黃人的聲音嗎？

科芬：其實我無法隨時那樣做。說起來挺怪的，但我的確要把要說的話先寫下來，因為當(dāng)你要說這種沒有意思的外來語言，就必須反復(fù)說，直到感覺自然、像真正的語言為止。我會寫下來，一遍一遍地錄音，直到聽起來自然為止。用毫無意義的單詞說話不是那么簡單的事。

TFK： There are three main characters in Minions. How would you describe them？

Coffin： The basic concept， the basics of a human character divided into three. Kevin is the conscience[良心]， the big brother， and the hero in the most general sense. Stuart is the teenager who doesnt want to do anything. Hes lazy， tired， and very sarcastic[諷刺的]. Hes very keen on doing the forbidden[禁止的] things. He has that teen aspect[方面] that makes him very charismatic[有魅力的]. Bob is the innocent[天真的] one. Hes the cutest and the heart of the three. Hes very funny.

TFK： What else can you tell us about the movie？

Coffin： Its great fun because you know already know these characters as a group， but you dont know them intimately[密切地]. The whole movie is about these characters， so you get to meet our three main characters and a lot of others who are also important. While our main characters are out searching for a new master， we see whats happening to the whole core of the minions. All of these moments are very funny and all of the human characters are awesomely evil. Its very exciting to introduce new villains[壞人]， like Scarlet Overkill （voiced by Sandra Bullock）， who is the worlds first female supervillain.

TFK：《小黃人》中有三個主角，你會怎樣描述它們呢？

科芬：基本的概念是，把一個人類角色一分為三。凱文代表良知，是大哥，是常規(guī)意義上的英雄。斯圖爾特是那個什么都不想干的少年;它懶惰、疲倦，很會挖苦人，總喜歡做違規(guī)的事情;它身上帶有的那種少年氣息使他魅力無法擋。鮑勃則代表天真無邪的那一面;它是三人當(dāng)中最萌的一個，也是它們的甜心，可搞笑呢。

TFK：關(guān)于這部電影還有什么可以透露的呢？

科芬：這部電影很有趣，因為你已經(jīng)從一個群體的層面認(rèn)識了這些角色，但對個體就不一定了。整部電影以角色為主，所以你會看到三個主角以及很多其他同樣重要的角色。當(dāng)我們的主角在外面尋找新主人時，我們也可以看到小黃人的整個核心部分發(fā)生了什么事情。所有這些場景都非常搞笑，所有的人類角色都極度邪惡。新反派的登場讓人很是激動，例如世界上第一個女性超級反派斯佳麗·殺人狂（桑德拉·布洛克配音）就是其中之一。
