In this context， Chinas textile machinery industry has emerged a new trend of development， textile machinery enterprises have also shown unprecedented enthusiasm to actively participate in the global industrial supply chain.

At this stage， what are the characteristics and advantages of Chinas textile machinery industry？ In the situation of the growing scale of textile machinery enterprises participating in exhibitions abroad， what aspects should we improve？ For this reason， our reporter interviewed Mr. Wang Shutian， honorary president of China Textile Machinery Association.

China Textile： What are the main characteristics and trends of the domestic textile machinery market at present？ In recent years， the enthusiasm of domestic enterprises to participate in ITMA has gradually increased. What do you think are the main reasons？

Mr. Wang Shutian： In recent years， there are two main characteristics and trends in the development of textile machinery in China. First， we should pay more attention to reducing production costs， improving efficiency， reducing consumption and achieving environmental friendliness. Secondly， with the continuous improvement of production technology， the reliability and quality assurance of domestic textile machinery products have been improved rapidly， and have gradually been recognized by foreign markets. This is also illustrated by the growth rate of domestic textile machinery exports in recent years.

Since the last exhibition in 2015， the enthusiasm of domestic enterprises to participate in the exhibition has become higher and higher， and ITMA 2019 has broken the record number of Chinese enterprises to participate in the exhibition and set a new high. I think there are several reasons： First， ITMA 2019 has a good brand leading role. Secondly， the textile machinery industry has many categories and long supply chain， and every link should be continuously optimized. In the global division of labor， Chinese enterprises have been integrated into all aspects of the production supply chain. Thirdly， our enterprises are aware of the importance of the international arena and the increasing share of foreign markets.

China Textile： What have Chinese enterprises gained from participating in foreign exhibitions？ What role does it play in promoting the development of the industry？ After ITMA 2019， ITMA ASIA + CITME will be formally launched. What are the similarities and differences between the two exhibitions？

Mr. Wang Shutian： The exhibition is a comprehensive display， which often reflects the design details of an enterprise product and the strength of its brand culture. From the experience of co-sponsoring exhibitions with CEMATEX， great changes have taken place in Chinas textile machinery industry in the past ten years.

Unlike other exhibitions： first， they must be related to textile machinery industry， secondly， research and development， production and sales must have two items， thirdly， exhibitors must have exhibits and the exhibits must run if they can. During the exhibition， exhibitors do not need to consider the cost of electricity， they are free， after the equipment is transported from the port to the entrance of the exhibition， the rest of the transport work is done by the organizer of the exhibition. In these respects， the two exhibitions are the same. The difference is that ITMA ASIA + CITME are rooted in the largest market of textile machinery in the world， and are closer to the production and application of key countries and regions in the world textile industry.
