Five days 17 fashion shows， 20 brands and designers participated， nearly 100 model performances， more than 6，000 spectators were present... 2019 Shishi Fashion Week gathers Shishis local garment industry with multi-directional， multi-cluster and multi-industry resources， which makes this fashion weeks climax happen again and again， together with the national fashion show of Shishi Fashion Week 2019 “Happiness Show”， as well as the matching activities of showroom， Fujian - Hong Kong Fashion Designers Professional Technique Competition 2019 and the 8th “Shishi Cup” National College Graduates Fashion Design Competition. Shishi Fashion Week has become a popular fashion topic.

On April 13th， the national fashion show of Shishi Fashion Week 2019 “Happiness Show”， launched in Xuefu Park， featuring nearly 500 art performers from all walks of life and all ages.

During Shishi Fashion Week， the establishment of showroom subverted the traditional trading mode. Showroom static exhibition area set off a five-day fashion exchange boom. Nearly 20，000 people came to see the exhibition and many cooperated. This is not only a platform for displaying products， but also a platform for integrating talents， buyers and resources of the whole industry chain to realize seamless docking of industry –design - market.

The 8th “Shishi Cup” National College GraduatesFashion Design Competition， with the theme of “Beautiful Life”， has received 1，122 pieces of excellent graduate works from 99 universities such as Donghua University， Soochow University， Jiangnan University， Minzu University of China， Sichuan University and Xian Polytechnic University etc. since its launch in January 2019. The “two bodies” collection designed by Shan Wenjie of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and the “new wave” collection designed by Yuan Renjie of Xian Polytechnic University stand out and won the gold prize for mens and womens wear.

The purpose of the Fujian - Hong Kong Fashion Designers Professional Technique Competition is to build a platform for designers to exchange and promote， so that the garment industry and culture of the two places can be more in-depth integration and exchange. After fierce competition， Kuang Yong， the designer from Fujian， won the first prize.

This Fashion Week， with the theme of “Design & Times”， initiated the release mode of “Theme Day”. With the theme days of original design， brand e-commerce， Fujian childrens wear and fashion buyers， it launched 17 fashion shows to explain the integration of fashion and industry， the collision of design and mar- ket. In addition to the Top Award designers Liu Yong and Zeng Fengfei， there are Top Ten designers Yang Zi， cutting-edge designers Hong Jianyin， Ma Weiming and so on who are participating in the release of this fashion week.

On the evening of April 21st， the closing ceremony of Shishi Fashion Week and the final competition of Fujian - Hong Kong Fashion Designers Professional Technique Competition were grandly staged. The closing ceremony is divided into the Fujian - Hong Kong masters combined show， the Fujian - Hong Kong competition excellent works show， the Golden Lion Award， the Fujian - Hong Kong Fashion Designers Professional Technique Competition Award， and the exchange center unveiling. Among them， the establishment of Fujian， Hong Kong， Taiwan and Macao Fashion Designers Professional Technique Exchange Center provides a platform for technological exchange for the innovation and upgrading of the four garment industries， which will promote the establishment of Shishi global original design exchange city and smoothly enter a new stage.
