The Grand Canyon National Park was listed as a World Natural Heritage site(世界自然遺產(chǎn))in 1979. It is a steepsided canyon carved by the Colorado River in Arizona, in the United States. The Grand Canyon is 446 kilometers long, up to 29 kilometers wide and attains a depth of over 1.6 kilometers.

Sequoia National Park is known for its rare tree species-the Giant Sequoia, among which, the General Sherman Tree is the largest tree in the world.

Yosemite National Park is an American national park located in the western Sierra Nevada of Central California. Designated as a World Heritage site in 1984, Yosemite is internationally recognized for its granite cliffs(花崗巖峭壁), waterfalls, clear streams, giant sequoia groves(巨型紅杉林), lakes, mountains, meadows, glaciers(冰川), and biological diversity. Almost 95% of the park is designated wilderness.
