Jiangxi Copper Kicked Off Reconstructing And Extending Phase Three Of Copper Foil, Increasing Capacity By 15000 Tons/year

On August, 8th, Jiangxi Copper officially kicked off its key project of “Innovative Doubling in Three Years”: Jiangxi Copper Yezi Copper Foil Co., Ltd, Phase Three, i.e. reconstructing and extending electrolytic copper foil project, increasing capacity by 15000 tons/year.

Total investment in this project is RMB 956.9 million. It is estimated that this project will be put into operation in 2020. By then, Jiangxi Copper will have increased capacity by 15000 tons/year, totally boasting annual capacity of 30000 tons/year. The Company is going to better meet demand for high precision copper foil from domestic and overseas market, especially the demand for ultrathin high-end lithium electricity copper foil.

It is learned that copper foil company is making pressing efforts to advance lithium electricity copper foil development so as to reach design capacity as soon as possible.

Reconstruction and extension of phase three project is a vital measure for Jiangxi Copper to adapt to swift development of electronic information and new energy industry, as well as to build copper foil production base featuring large scale, batch production and full variety. This contributes to strengthening speaking right of the Company in high-end copper foil market and promote corporate strategy implementation.
