Abstract: In the context of the new curriculum,teachers are required to improve the teaching methodsand break the traditional teaching model.The author believes the cooperative learning model is an innovative teaching method.In this regard,this paper makes a brief analysis of cooperative learning in the process of senior middle school English classroom teaching.

Cooperative learning means that the teacher designs a question or a topic according to the student's learning ability,personality development and teaching content in the classroom.

一、Cooperative learning in the process of senior high school English classroom teaching

(一) The definition of cooperative learning is vague

When it comes to cooperative learning,most teachers will think that they only divide students into groups at will.In teaching,teachers usually divide students in the form of the front and near seats.This form of division is unscientific in this context.The students in the group have different learning abilities and personality traits.

(二) The cooperative teaching form is solidified

Influenced by the traditional teaching concept,the teaching style in the English classroom is single,the teaching process is boring,and the teaching method is solidified.That is: the teachers are grouped---discussed by all the students themselves---solving problems.

(三) Classroom guidance control

In the process of cooperative discussion,the classroom is more like a vegetable market.The students talked loudly and can not tell whether the students were discussing the knowledge content.In short,every classmate was talking,some group students chatted,some groups had no purposeful discussion.

二、Senior high school English classroom teaching cooperative learning teaching methods

(一)Differentiate cooperative learning

Cooperative learning requires the teachers to have a clearunderstandingof it.Cooperative learning is really a group,but it is not the same as simply dividing the students into several small groups.

Cooperative learning mainly relies on the interdependence of the students and conducts some effective discussions on the same issue.

(二)Multiple the models of cooperation

When designing the teaching content,we must pay attention to the cultivation of the students' listening,speaking,reading and writing skills,and carry out cooperative learning through all kinds of forms.

The teachers should also pay more attention to the frequency of cooperative learning forms in the teaching process.Practice has proved:

In short,in the context of the new curriculum,the traditional form of teaching has lagged behind the development of the times,and it is followed by a new teaching method--cooperative learning.This form of learning plays a decisive role in the cultivation of students'interest in learning,the improvement of self-awareness and the improvement of learning efficiency,so those students can learn happily and improve the quality of teaching.
