N ow,the Shennongjia government considers the TCM healthcare industry as a great project that echoes the philosophy of green development and ecological balance.For it,the government has made supportive policies, improved the working mechanism and invited lots of investments,laying a solid foundation for the development of TCMhealthcare industry.

This year,Shennongjia has been honored as one of the “Top 10 Most Attractive Destinations of Chinese Healthcare,”elected as one of the eight tourism routes for TCM healthcare in Hubei Province,and entitled an“International Slow City.”The unique natural conditions,the profound cultural heritage of Shennongjia,and the booming eco-tourism lay a firm foundation for the settlement of the Special Committee of Forest Healthcare Studies, World Federation of Chinese Medicine.The Committee will concentrate on related professional fields and academic knowledge and give full scope to the skills of the professionals to advance the scientific and technological levels of the region on forest health preservation, and enhance the academic research in this field.

Through the forum,the local government will build four platforms;one for TCM health science, industrial exchanges and cooperation;the second for enterprises to demonstrate their products during the preparation of the Second Herbal Cuisine Competition;the third for constructing TCM healthcare projects like Batao Herbal Village and TCM health tourism base,and the last for training relevant talents through cooperation with the Hubei University of Chinese Medicine.

當(dāng)前，林區(qū)把中醫(yī)藥健康養(yǎng)生產(chǎn)業(yè)作為彰顯生態(tài)優(yōu)勢(shì)、促進(jìn)綠色發(fā)展的重大工程來(lái)推動(dòng)，出臺(tái)扶持政策，完善工作機(jī)制，大力招商引資，聚集了中醫(yī)藥健康產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展的豐厚土壤。

2018年，神農(nóng)架上榜“國(guó)人最向往十大康養(yǎng)目的地”，入選湖北省首次發(fā)布的8條中醫(yī)藥康養(yǎng)旅游線路，榮膺“國(guó)際慢城”稱號(hào)。得天獨(dú)厚的自然資源優(yōu)勢(shì)、博大精深的神農(nóng)文化、欣欣向榮的生態(tài)旅游，為世界中醫(yī)藥學(xué)會(huì)聯(lián)合會(huì)森林康養(yǎng)研究專業(yè)委員會(huì)落戶神農(nóng)架奠定了堅(jiān)實(shí)基礎(chǔ)。森林康養(yǎng)研究專業(yè)委員會(huì)將凝聚和發(fā)揮相關(guān)專業(yè)領(lǐng)域?qū)W術(shù)力量和專家資源的作用，提升森林康養(yǎng)專業(yè)領(lǐng)域的科學(xué)化、技術(shù)化水平，營(yíng)造良好的森林康養(yǎng)發(fā)展學(xué)術(shù)研究與交流互動(dòng)社會(huì)氛圍。

通過(guò)舉辦論壇，林區(qū)將搭建四個(gè)平臺(tái)，即在中醫(yī)藥養(yǎng)生科學(xué)、產(chǎn)業(yè)交流合作方面搭建平臺(tái)；籌備第二屆藥膳大賽，為企業(yè)提供展示平臺(tái)；打造巴桃園藥谷等中醫(yī)藥康養(yǎng)項(xiàng)目，搭建中醫(yī)藥健康旅游基地建設(shè)示范交流平臺(tái)；與湖北中醫(yī)藥大學(xué)簽訂人才培養(yǎng)、培訓(xùn)合作協(xié)議，為企業(yè)搭建人才培養(yǎng)平臺(tái)。
