Go is a board game. The game was invented in ancient China more than 2，500 years ago， so it is believed to be the oldest board game still played today. Up to mid-2008， there were over 40 million Go players around the world， and most of them are living in East Asia. Among them， there is an outstanding boy called Ke Jie. He is a Chinese professional Go player of 9 dan1 rank.Go plays an important role in his life and he is really good at it.

Ke Jie started to learn how to play Go in 2003 when he was 5 years old. He won his first national championship in 2007. He became a professional Go player in 2008 when he was 10 years old and was promoted to 9 dan in 2015. In January 2015， Ke won his first world title when he won the 2nd Bailing Cup. In this game， he defeated Qiu Jun 3-2 in the finals. Ke won the 2nd Mlily Cup， He Sui Cup and Nongshim Cup， defeating world-famous Go player Lee Sedol three times in a row2 in 2016. Ke became highest ranked player in the official Chinese Weiqi Association ranking in September 2015.

The year 2017 is meant to be a special year for Ke. A three-game match was played by Ke Jie against AlphaGo at the Future of Go Summit in Wuzhen from 23 to 27 May 2017. In the end， AlphaGo defeated3 Ke 3-0 in all the three games. After his defeat to AlphaGo， Ke Jie cried but he didnt give up. He continued to study the machines games to find inspiration4 for new strategies.

Ke has a kind and generous5 heart. He publicly raised money in Beijing when theres a landslide in Lishui， Zhejiang. Later on， Chinese Weiqi Association also joined him. Ke Jie is also highly thought of by people. The founder of DeepMind， Demis Hassabis said， “Ke has brought us a match full of creativity6 and inspirations. He is a real genius.” The chief editor of a famous Go magazine， Weiqi Tiandi， Zhang Dayong， said， “Ke Jie is a gift from heaven and he is a leader in Chinese Go.”

圍棋是一種棋類游戲。中國于2500多年前發(fā)明了圍棋。人們相信它是延續(xù)至今最古老的棋類游戲。截止到2008年年中為止，全球有超過4000萬棋手，其中大部分居住在東亞。在這些圍棋手中，有一名男孩兒脫穎而出。他叫柯潔，是一名中國圍棋職業(yè)九段棋手。圍棋在他的生活中扮演了極其重要的角色，他下起圍棋來也很得心應手。

柯潔五歲的時候（2003年）開始學習下圍棋，2007年獲得了他人生中第一個全國冠軍。一年之后（2008年），十歲的他成為了專業(yè)圍棋手，并于2015年升上了九段。2015年1月，柯潔在第二屆百靈杯世界圍棋決賽中以3比2的成績打敗了邱峻（音），為自己獲得了人生第一個世界冠軍。2016年，柯潔分別在第二屆夢百合杯、賀歲杯和農(nóng)心杯奪冠，連續(xù)三次戰(zhàn)勝了世界頂級棋手李世石?？聺嵲?015年9月成為中國圍棋協(xié)會段位最高的棋手。

2017年對于柯潔來說注定是不平凡的一年。2017年5月23號至27號，在烏鎮(zhèn)主辦的圍棋峰會中，柯潔與人工智能阿爾法進行了三場人機大戰(zhàn)。結果，柯潔不敵阿爾法，以0比3敗陣。在輸給阿爾法之后，柯潔落淚了，但是他并沒有就此灰心。他繼續(xù)潛心研究機器下棋的方法，以尋求新策略的靈感。

柯潔有一顆善良又慷慨的心。當浙江麗水發(fā)生山體滑坡的時候，他在北京舉辦募捐活動，中國圍棋協(xié)會之后也加入了募捐。外界對柯潔的評價頗高。深度思考（DeepMind）公司創(chuàng)始人戴密斯·哈薩比斯說道：“柯潔為我們帶來了精彩又充滿靈感的比賽，他是真正的天才。”《圍棋天地》（著名的圍棋雜志）總編張大勇（音）評價道：“柯潔就是上天賜給中國圍棋的領軍人物”。
