Zhejiang FDA has taken measures to accelerate and stabilize the filing management trial for non-special use cosmetics in Zhejiang free trade zone.

In response to the problem of long compliance and safety inspection duration during product testing by Chinese authorities, a green channel for imported non-special cosmetics has been established, shortening the inspection period from 4 months to 35 days. At the same time, cosmetic enterprises can deliver products requiring inspection directly after receiving the certificate for the sample issued by Zhoushan Municipal Bureau. At present, there are three products having entered the inspection process through the green channel.

Furthermore, Zhejiang FDA has published a filing process introduction and service guide online for the convenience of enterprises and designated experts to answer related questions.The suggestions of cosmetics enterprises have also been carefully considered.

In the next period, Zhejiang FDA will further simplify and standardize the filing management procedures, and a series of policies will be implemented based on local conditions to improve work efficiency, shorten the filing period, and reduce the cost of the enterprise.
