Jinwang Bismuth Industrial Overcomes Resource Bottlenecks and Accelerates Transformation
Recent information about Jinwang Bismuth Industrial reveals that the company has developed the world's first oxygen-rich side-blown redox duplex furnace technology, solving the long-standing problems of environmental protection and resource recycling in bismuth smelting.
It's learned that the company recovers up to 100,000 tons of bismuth-containing lead-antimony slag, copper dross, late slag and smoke dust generated from the production process of smelting enterprises every year, and efficiently separates valuable metals and harmful heavy metals from low-grade complex bismuth-containing materials, truly recovering all valuable metals from bismuth-containing materials, and converting waste into valuables and harm into good. For example, the final waste slag produced from smelting is now sold to cement plants as a raw material because it contains elements such as silicon, iron and calcium and meets the cement-making standards. But during the smelting period, waste slag can only be dumped as waste due to excess content of heavy metals, posing a potential hazard to groundwater. In addition, Jinwang Bismuth Industrial has achieved standard discharge of exhaust gas and the recycling of wastewater after environmental treatment.
In the extended industrial chain, Jinwang Bismuth Industrial is fully developing deep-processing and high value-added products. At present, 80% of bismuth nitrate solution in Europe is provided by Jinwang Europe and the company's bismuth oxide output accounts for more than 75% of the world total. The company's bismuth deep-processing materials and medical bases, which will soon be put into production, will further improve the bismuth industry chain, allow the company to provide more crucial bismuth materials for the country's nuclear energy, superconductor materials, energy devices, petroleum exploration, medicine and other fields of science and technology, and enable the green metal of bismuth to further benefit the society and serve the country’s scientific and technological development.
It is known that bismuth is used as a substitute for toxic elements such as lead and chromium in many fields because of its metabolic and non-toxic properties, hereby called "green metal". However, due to a certain gap between resource reserves and demand, extracting bismuth from raw ores in the future will be unable to meet the market demand, nor will it help achieve the sustainable development of enterprises. Only the regeneration and recycling of bismuth resources is the fundamental way out for enterprises. In this context, Jinwang Bismuth Industrial has actively promoted transformation and upgrading, endeavored to build itself into a "resource-saving and environment-friendly" modern enterprise and focused on the recycling of resources and extension of the bismuth industry chain to ensure its sustainable development.
