Braconidae are one of the largest families of Hymenoptera with more than 21 223 described species worldwide(Yu et al.,2016)under 45 subfamilies,111 tribes and 1 103 genera(Beyarslan et al.,2014;Yu et al.,2016).Most of the braconids are powerful parasitoids that have efficient role in biological control of several agricultural and forest pests(Shaw et al.,1991;Wharton,1993;Shaw,2006).
The fauna of Iranian Braconidae has been studied rather well and most of the taxa have been catalogued by several authors(e.g.,Gadallah et al.,2013a,2013b,2015a,2015b,2015c,2016a,2016b,2016c,2017;Ghahari,2016;Farahani et al.,2016;Beyarslan et al.,2017).The aim of this paper is introducing of 19 species of Braconidae as the new records for the fauna of Iran.
Samplings were done using Malaise traps, sweeping nets and rearing of hosts(pupation chamber with nymphs of Pentatomidae and larvae of Curculionidae)in optimum condition[(25±2) ℃,(65±5)%RH,L ∶D=14∶10],and misted with distilled water one to two times per week in order to prevent desiccation. The emerged insects were collected daily. The emerged parasitoids were put in ethanol 70%+5%glycerin,pined or mounted on small labels and examined with a stereoscopic binocular microscope. In this paper, the information concerning specific name, describer and description date, locality, date of collection, and number of specimens are given.Classification and distribution of each braconid species in the present study follow Yu et al.(2016).
Totally 19 Braconidae species under seven subfamilies,Agathidinae,Brachistinae,Braconinae,Cheloninae,Euphorinae,Microgastrinae and Opiinae were collected and identified from some regions of Iran. The list of species is given below alphabetically.

The fauna of Iranian Braconidae is very diverse.Iran has a spectacular position between three different ecological zones, the Palaearctic,Afrotropical and Indomalayan.Although most of the Iranian fauna is related to the Palaearctic region, the fauna of the two other regions are also represented and are recorded from different areas of the country, especially the south(Zehzad et al.,2002;Khoei et al.,2011).Regarding to these 19 new records, the total species number of Iranian Braconidae reaches more than 800.However we expect nearly 1 500 species of Braconidae for the fauna of Iran which will be discovered by faunistic surveys in different areas especially the regions where have not been sampled systematically.Additionally,in this research four insect species,Anthonomus pomorum,Ceutorhynchus assimilis(Curculionidae),Chaetocnema(Chaetocnema)hortensis(Chrysomelidae)and Dolycoris baccarum(Pentatomidae)were collected as the hosts of Braconidae. The parasitoid-host relationships have poorly been studied for the Iranian Braconidae and it is necessary to be conducted by the researchers;because determining of these relationships is the first step for establishment of biological control programs(Hoy et al.,1985;De Bach et al.,1991).
