An old woman opens her windows and looks out. What a sunny day！But she is surprised to see a man in the front of her garden. The old woman looks at him and says to herself， “He is eating grass. Why？”

She goes out into her garden and says to him， “Are you very hungry？ Why dont you go to work and get some food？” The man looks at her and says， “I dont like working. I just like eating. Now Im hungry， but I have nothing for my breakfast. You see， Im eating grass. Can you give me some food？”

The old woman says， “Come to the back door of my house.” The man is very glad. He thinks he can get food from the old woman. So he goes with her.

The old woman opens the back door and says to the man. “Look， the grass here is longer than that in the garden. Just enjoy it here！”

一個老婦人開窗往外看，天氣真好！但是她很驚訝地看到有個男人在她的花園前面。老女人看著他自言自語道：“他在吃草。為什么呢？”

老婦人走出花園對他說：“你餓了嗎？你為何不去工作好買一些食物？”男人看著老婦人說：“我不喜歡工作，我只喜歡吃?，F(xiàn)在我餓了，但是我早飯沒吃東西。你瞧，我正在吃草。你能給我一些食物嗎？”

老婦人說：“到我房子后門口來?！蹦腥撕芨吲d。他認為自己能從老婦人那里得到一些食物了。所以他跟她走去。

老婦人打開后門，對男人說：“看，這里的草比花園里的更長。好好在這里享受吧！”

Tom Smith is not old， but he does not have much hair. His wife Grace has thick， beautiful， black hair. Mr. and Mrs. Smith have one daughter. Her name is Mary， and she is four and a half years old.

There is a photo of her father in the living room. A few days ago Mary looked at it for a long time and then said to her mother， “Mummy， why has Daddy got very little hair？” Grace laughed and said， “Hes got very little hair because he thinks a lot. Hes a clever man.”

Mary looked at her mothers thick， black hair and asked， “Mummy， why have you got a lot of hair？”
