Once upon a time, in a small city, there was an empty storybook. The book looked great, but all its pages were1)blank. Passers-by would pick up the book with2)anticipation, and cast the book aside because there were no stories inside. Not far from there, a lovely inkpot had been full of ink for years. His owner had forgotten about him.
One time when the book was thrown away, he ended up next to the inkpot. They told each other stories about their bad luck. And they would do this for years, if an3)elegant swan feather did not float down and land next to them. The feather felt lonely and4)abandoned at the beginning. He cried, and the book and the inkpot joined in.
However, the feather was soon tired of crying, and he decided to improve the situation. He5)convinced the storybook and inkpot to write a story together. The storybook opened up his best pages, the inkpot didn’t6)spill even a drop, and the feather7)contributed great8)ingenuity and beautiful writing. Together they managed to write a story.
A teacher passed by, looking sad. He had a problem keeping his pupils’attention. He found the storybook, the inkpot and the feather and picked them up. After reading the book, he found the story charming. In class he told the story to his pupils, and they all loved it.
From then on, the three buddies wrote a new story for the young teacher everyday. They felt so happy and proud.
