Last Saturday, Narathiga (not his real name), a 20-year-old student, went fi shing in Japan just like he does every month.

He had a successful day, catching a big, beautiful fish covered in blue patterns, and tweeting about how excited he was to eat it.

"Caught a huge thread-sail fi lefi sh!!" he wrote. "I'm going to eat its intestine①intestine 英 [?n'test?n] 美 [?n't?st?n] adj. 內(nèi)部的；國內(nèi)的n. 腸with soy②soy 英 [s??] 美 [s??] n. 大豆；醬油sauce now!!!"

However, Narathiga hadn't caught a thread-sail filefish. He had actually caught a scrawled fi lefi sh, which has a toxin③toxin 英 ['t?ks?n] 美 ['tɑks?n] n. 毒素；毒質(zhì)in its intestine 70 times more poisonous than the poison in a puffer④puffer 英 ['p?f?] n. 河豚fi sh. So… it's pretty poisonous.

People were understandably worried for Narathiga's health. Especially when he stopped tweeting.

"You can't eat the intestine!!" "Are you dead?"

Narathiga told BuzzFeed News he hoped his slight brush with death would raise awareness about scrawled filefish. "I would've been dead instantly if my phone didn't tweet," he said.

人們理所當(dāng)然為他的情況表示擔(dān)憂，在他停止發(fā)推特之后更是擔(dān)心不已 。

Narathiga這條關(guān)于魚的推特被轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)了萬余條，他在其中一條解釋稱，在看到警告之后他便把那條魚放生了。

Narathiga向《BuzzFeed News》透露，他希望自己這次與死神擦身而過的經(jīng)歷可以引起大家對擬態(tài)革鲀的注意。他說道：“要是我沒有發(fā)那條推特，可能我當(dāng)時(shí)就已經(jīng)死掉了?！?/p>
