Abstract:Gatsby is eager to winning his lost love by success of material . However, his dream is built upon unreality which destines to his failure .The Great Gatsby is an excellent work either thought or art.

1. Introduction
The Great Gatsby saw excellent writing technique of Fitzgerald. It is universally acknowledge that Fitzgerald greatness lies in the fact he depended on intuitive to depict the embodiment of that of the nation and produced a meth out of American life. The story of The Great Gatsby is a highly good illustration, expressing the theme of disillusion of American dream. The work is brief, short order with typical scene and actions .Brief emotion and image provide readers with the most moving American objections. People saw things in a blur is confused state of mind in 2020s .American Dream was ornamented with all kind of exaggerate words .Fitzgerald with a romantic unique gift was appealed by crazy American dream. He found it was so hollow and unreal when uncovering the veil of the age. He even clearly known what he was or what value of life was .This intricate absurd attitude is exposed by Gatsby and other roles .The dream of Gatsby was full of romantic color and was not corroded .He was strongly eager to success from snatch . However , it seems to be overflowing with magnificent and hollow.
2. Plot
The story tells a man, Gatsby, who is poor youth from the Midwest how to engage himself in illegal trades for earning enough money and how to struggle for winning his lost love owing to the poverty. There was a splendid love between Gatsby and Daisy. However, material beat their relationship of intimation .The mendacity Daisy married to a rich young man .showing the scene of the Jazz Age in 20th century in America. Exposing the temption and despair of American Dream in that age . There was a subtle sorrow depicting the love between Gatsby and Daisy in the Great Gatsby, which expressed a deep upset of disillusion of American dream. The story told the distinction and the identity between Nick and Gatsby. From some little subtle details, we know Nick was calm and sober so that he can carefully observe things what happened around themselves .On contrary, romantic Gatsby just took attention on illusion . At first, Nick turned doubt into sympathy. Then he began to encourage Gatsby. He still kept sober though he gradually combined with Gatsby .Finally , Gatsby suddenly known a truth that he broke up his dream ,wasted his life ,and lose his love . He understood that past things could not come back . Therefore , his love and soul together died.
The method of the amalgamation and the distance showed all kinds of aspects of feelings and thought Different readers embraces different views . Just different reviewers have different opinions .Critic found a meth of Fitzgerald: he had a rarely gift to enjoy romantic original feelings. However, he went about object analyses with satire. Fitzgerald is sympathy with Gatsby from the low class. His suffer just reflected the Jazz Age of American ideality. As we all known, illustration of ideal is a traditional theme in American literature. American ideal and dream is mythology by the capitalist class to create.
3. American Dream
American Dream was original from Puritan for the life of freedom, freedom creation and dream .It is symbol of happiness especially pursuit of success. After the civil war, with the appearance of Industrialization . American dream is increasingly became highly concert. It made people believed that there was equal to struggle for million as long as you work- hard. It was not until break out the First World War that America entered into an unprecedented transient age of booming. The protagonist was disgusted with all material civilization so that he suicided to express his fairly frustration. They were sacrificial lambs of American dream.
4. Analysis of theme
Generally speaking, the novel of The Great Gatsby just an episode of 2020s ,so-called The Jazz Age .The author depicts all kinds of corruption in society .Ugly of industrialization and urbanization defeats the power of moral. The author is worried about booming of the 20 decades .At the same time .The beliefs standing for American tradition also lose in this hedonism .Therefore ,it is ineluctable for disillusionment of American dream.
The author reply to all kind of significant metaphors to present emotions and feelings of persons brilliant metaphor always are used to draw atmosphere of inanity of spirit. These metaphors not pursuit of formalization industry 2 aspects.
The Great Gatsby craftsmanship is impeccable. Fitzgerald choose a dramatic narrator , through whose consciousness everything filters ensuring the high quality of work .From this work ,we know Nick Carraway limited omniscience determines the facts that he tells but hold up some information so that the author created a superb effect of my suspense .It seems to experience real things for Nike .The relationship of Gatsby and Nico from is intricate. The method that combining with different views in the novel to create a mysterious situation .Here lies the great intellectual achievement the author ever finished. No one can deny that Fitzgerald was one of the great stylists in booming American literature. His proses are regarded commonly as fairly smooth, sensitive and completely original with many dictions and metaphors ,The Great Gatsby is conceived that it actually embraces simplicity and gracefulness and the specific . The famous techniques are bold impressionistic and colorful quality ,which convey the vision of Fitzgerald all reveal consummate artistry .Many critical writers view this work as the prose version of The Waste Land of Eliot.
5. Summary
The Great Gatsby is extremely prominent work either the theme or the art exerting a potential influence on the later young writers. The disillusionment of American dream .It is just like the author himself whose life is a disillusionment of American dream . However ,the generation of America still woo themselves dreams.
