一、文體概述

約稿信是向某作者發(fā)出為報(bào)刊等撰寫稿件的請求信件。包括四個(gè)部分：（1）欄目介紹；（2）稿件內(nèi)容；（3）稿件長度；（4）交稿日期。約稿信屬于書信的一種，考生應(yīng)把握好書信的固定格式和得體的寒暄用語。

二、必備短語

1. carry articles written by ... about... . 登載由……寫的關(guān)于……的文章

2. anything relevant/concerned 任何相關(guān)內(nèi)容

3. the ... section in our newspaper 我們報(bào)紙的……欄目

4. extend the deadline 延長最后期限

5. interesting and informative（內(nèi)容）既有趣又充實(shí)

6. write an article with the theme of寫一篇主題是……的文章

7. intend to publish articles with the theme of打算刊登主題是……的文章

8. especially welcome articles from... about...特別歡迎來自……有關(guān)……的文章

9. hand in ones articles 交稿

三、套用句式

1. Id like to invite you to write an article for the English newspaper. 我想請你為英文報(bào)寫一篇文章。

2. I wonder if you could write something about Chinese poems. 我想知道你是否可以寫一些關(guān)于中國詩歌的文章。

3. Your article is supposed to be written within 300 words. / 300 words would be fine. 你的文章的字?jǐn)?shù)應(yīng)控制在300字以內(nèi)。/300字就夠了。

4. It would be better if we have your article before June 1. 我們在6月1日之前能收到你的文章會(huì)更好。

5. We will extend the deadline if you consider the time is not enough. 如果你認(rèn)為時(shí)間不夠，我們將延長最后期限。

習(xí)作修改

本文是李華給Mike寫的約稿信，希望在學(xué)校英語雜志《海外的中國味兒》欄目介紹一下他所嘗試過的中國美食。

1. 劃去on 因表示“最近過得如何”用How is everything going？即可。

2. write和article中間加an 因article為可數(shù)名詞，需要加不定冠詞。

3. carry→ carries 主語it為第三人稱單數(shù)，謂語需要變?yōu)榈谌朔Q單數(shù)形式。

4. nothing→ something 向Mike約稿，應(yīng)該是希望他為雜志“寫點(diǎn)東西”。

5. tasting→tasted 完成時(shí)是have加過去分詞。

6. especial→especially 修飾動(dòng)詞welcome應(yīng)該用副詞。

7. but→and 因“有趣的”與“充實(shí)的”是并列關(guān)系，用and。

8. had→have 本文時(shí)態(tài)不涉及過去，因此應(yīng)該用have。

9. word→words 因“單詞（words）”為可數(shù)名詞，約400詞，應(yīng)用其復(fù)數(shù)形式。

10. whether→if 表示“如果”，而不是表示“是否”，應(yīng)該用if。
