At the end of 2016, Pingguo County had developed a production capacity of 6 million tons of bauxite and 2.596 million tons of alumina, a processing capacity of 845,000 tons of aluminum products, and an expected capacity of 400,000 aluminum and 659,000 tons of iron ore concentrate. The county's aluminum industry has an output value of 20.504 billion yuan and the supporting industries 1.21 billion yuan, accounting for 77.1% of the county's gross industrial output value.

We will implement the Medium-and Long-Term Plan for Second-Round Business Startups of the Aluminum Industry of Guangxi Province, endeavor to meet the goal of "local electrolyzation of 80% of alumina produced in Guangxi and local deep-processing of 80% of aluminum produced in Guangxi", fully promote the Hualei light alloy project and spare every effort to complete and put into production the 40,000-ton aluminum water project by the end of 2017. We'll accelerate the production expansion and technological transformation of the Hualei light alloy project, and strive to expand the production capacity to 550,000 tons by 2018.
