Mass Production of Fujian's Largest New Energy Lithium-ion Battery Project

In early March, after nearly six months of trial operation, the lithium-ion battery project of Fujian Dynavolt Renewable Energy Technology Co., Ltd. began mass production in Zhaoan County. This RMB 300 million and 260-meter-long production line can produce 200 cells per minute, more than 3 times the capacity of domestic ordinary production lines.

The project, built by Guangdong Dynavolt Renewable Energy Technology Co., Ltd. with an additional investment of RMB 3 billion after investing in and building Donglibao Power Technology Co., Ltd. in Zhaoan County, is the largest new energy lithium-ion battery project in Southern Fujian and mainly specialized in the development, production and sales of lithium-ion batteries, which are automotive core parts. The project will be built in three phases and plans to build 6 automatic production lines, which are all expected to be put into production in 2017. At that time, the project will produce 6 billion kWh lithium-ion battery cells and packs per year for assembly by 200,000 electric vehicles, with an annual output value of RMB 10 billion, contributing annual taxes of RMB 500 million. It is learned that within the next 5 years, Guangdong Dynavolt Renewable Energy Technology plans to additionally invest in RMB 10 billion in the Jindu Industrial Concentration Area to build a new energy town and a Dynavolt new energy industrial park, which will cover a planned area of 2,500 mu, generate an annual output value of up to RMB 20 billion and offer employment opportunities for 4,000 people.

After the completion of the project, Fujian will gradually form a new energy industry pattern with Contemporary Amperex Technology in Ningde in the north and Dynavolt Renewable Energy Technology in Chaozhou in the south.
