Announcement of Distinguished GPB Special Issues 2003-2015

We would like to announce the first batch of distinguished Genomics,Proteomics and Bioinformatics(GPB)special issues selected from all special issues published in GPB 2003-2015.

Four special issues have been selected for the first batch of the award program(Table 1).The editorial award committee recognized these distinguished special issues based on the issue-wise average citations per article calculated from the Web of Science citations by taking into account the length of post-publication time.

Same as the distinguished GPB article award program,the distinguished GPB special issue award program is also supported by the Project for Enhancing International Impact of China STM Journals(PIIJ)of China.

Thanks a lot for the great efforts of the guest editors in putting together these notable special issues.Congratulations to all guest editors and authors of the awarded distinguished special issues!
