The exhibition on style transformation paintings in the late period of Ming dynasty was presented in National Palace Museum, Taipei in 1977, which was the first time that these special artworks created by painters who were characterized by the transforming painting styles of Ming dynasty, appeared in the public eyes. There were many famous artists emerging in that period in which Wu Bin, Ding Yunpeng, Cui Zizhong and Chen Hongshou had achieved great success in figure paintings, taking this artistic type to a new height.
1977年,臺(tái)北故宮博物院舉辦“晚明變形主義畫家作品展”,率先將晚明具有變形風(fēng)格的畫家作品集合展出,稱之為“晚明變形主義”,后來(lái)這一提法獲學(xué)界廣泛認(rèn)同,成為描述晚明尚奇求怪藝術(shù)取向的代名詞。晚明變形人物畫以吳彬、丁云鵬、崔子忠、陳洪綬為代表,四人風(fēng)格面貌各有不同,但都以尚奇求怪的個(gè)性化表達(dá)一掃當(dāng)時(shí)畫壇甜膩板結(jié)之風(fēng),不但拓展了自唐以來(lái)的傳統(tǒng)人物畫圖式和筆墨語(yǔ)言,更使已日漸低迷的人物畫在晚明煥發(fā)新的光彩。
