Star Trek Beyond

Star Trek Beyond is the thirteenth fi lm in the Star Trek fi lm franchise and the third installment in the reboot series, following Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek into Darkness (2013). In the new fi lm, the Enterprise crew on a fi ve year mission explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test.

The fi lm is directed by Taiwanese American Justin Lin, who is also the director of The Fast and the Furious 3-6. Another standard outer space-themed blockbuster, the fi lm has successfully avoided the disease of sequelitis. It can not only get the adrenalin going, but also touch the heart of the audience.

作為2009年開啟的新三部曲中的第三部，這是星際的第13部大銀幕制作。背景設定在《暗黑無界》之后，講述了企業(yè)號的船員們開始了長達五年的探索之旅，卻在途中滯留異星，遭遇了當?shù)胤N族的追殺的故事。影片雖然情節(jié)看似標準的太空大片，但是這次成功地避免了大片續(xù)集病，不僅走腎上腺素，而且走了心。

2 Now You See Me 2驚天魔盜團

Today many media professionals in North America tend to describe the Chinese market as “the saviour of Hollywood action fi lms”. A good example is London Has Fallen, an American action thriller fi lm released earlier this year, which was not a good performer in North America, but raked in big bucks in China. This (and others) has made people believe that China is now a new territory for Hollywood action fi lms to succeed. A typical American heist thriller fi lm, Now You See Me 2 went one step further by adding many Chinese elements, including the fi lming of some scenes in Macau and the starring of Jay Chou.

Independence Day: Resurgence獨立日：卷土重來

Two decades after the fi rst Independence Day invasion, Earth is faced with a new extra-Solar threat – only this time aliens come with more advanced weapons. It did invite expectations, perhaps. But it has to be admitted that today it takes more than vivid special effects, powerful freak aliens or heart-stopping actions to win over the audience. After all, Chinese theatre-goers are no strangers to really good fi lms after years of exposure to Hollywood blockbusters.
