Panzhihua Iron&Steel and Baoti Group Deepened Exchange and Cooperation in Titanium Field

On May 5~6, Panzhihua Iron&Steel and Baoti Group communicated extensively on deepening and strengthening cooperation in titanium field and promoting development of titanium industry.

On May 5, Zhang Dade, Secretary of CPC Party Committee and Chairm an of Panzhihua Iron&Steel, led a delegation to visit Baoti W ire Factory, Baose Special Equipment Factory, Baoti W ide Thick Plate Com pany, and Baoti Co., Ltd Forgery, comprehensively learned Baoti Group’s product development and market occupancy info in four m ajor business units of titanium products, zirconium products, equipment design & manufacture, and specialty metals, inspected industrial clusters and industrial chain dominated by rare metals processing.

On May 6, both sides communicated extensively on deepening cooperation in titanium field, and held in-depth discussion by revolving around issues such as promoting development of titanium industry.

After over 50 years of construction and development, in 2015 Panzhihua Iron&Steel put forward “Developing strength by relying onscience and technology, focusing on vanadiumtitanium, refining iron and steel business, invigorating non steel business” development strategy, and is going all out to propel scientific innovation of titanium industry, engage in keyproblem tackling of the Titanium Extraction from Blast Furnace Slag Project, and build West Panzhihua titanium resource integ rated utilization industrial ecological chain. Meanwhile, it will speed up integrated utilization of vanadium-titanium resour ce, continually im prove deploym ent of titan ium industrial chain, intensify cooperation efforts with advan ced enterp rises, jointly promote development of titanium industry.
