Both Capacity and Output of Luoyang-made Aluminum Sheet, Strip and Foil Accounted for 50% of Total China

Recently, the Henan Province Aluminum Processing Technology Exchange Conference opened at Yidian Holding Group. Currently output of Henan Province’s aluminum products ranks second nationwide, capacity and output of “Luolyang made” aluminum sheet, strip and foil all accounted for “half of the country total” across China.

At the Conference, representatives from over 30 aluminum processing enterprises in Henan province conducted technology exchange, together discussed development strategy of aluminum processing industry in the new situation. The Conference disclosed that, in 2015, output of Henan Province aluminum products was 9.83 million tonnes, up by 8.1% on Y-o-Y basis, accounting for 18.5% of national total output, ranking second nationwide, it has become one of China’s most important aluminum processing bases.

Enterprises represented by Wanji Aluminum and Yidian Holding Group, which are characterized by joint operation of coal, electricity, and aluminum, leveraged self advantages to make large scale investment in aluminum alloy processing field, it continually introduced overseas high-end equipment or high-end aluminum alloy production lines (concentrated in sheet, strip and foil product aspects), which enabled Luoyang’s production equipment for aluminum sheet, strip and foil to reach international advanced standard, both output and capacity of aluminum sheet, strip and foil account for “half of the country total” across China.

The degree of industry integration continues to rise, scale benefit began to emerge progressively. High-end food packaging material and cigarette foil material processed by Wanji Aluminum one after another were launched in the market, aluminum foil stock was also exported to South Korea; Yidian Holding Group completed enterprise restructuring, and ushered in group-based operation model for private enterprise, through integrated management of two subordinate aluminum processing enterprises, it enabled Longding Aluminum to maintain monthly output of aluminum processing above 20000 tonnes, and achieved scale benefit.
