With a total investment of RMB 0.98 billion,the 3 key nonferrous metals deep processing projects of Tianjin Ziya Recycling Economy Industrial Zone has recently entered the stage of engineering construction and is expected to be completed this year. Upon completion, the projects will be capable of processing over 200,000 tons of recycling copper aluminum and products and increasing annual output of nonferrous metals by more than 40%.

Tianjin Ziya Recycling Economy Industrial Zone steps up to attract investment and accelerates to develop recycling economy. Since 2011, the zone has attracted several major industrial projects with the investment of more than RMB 0.1 billion, quadrupling that of the previous year. Enterprises in the zone have invested the following 3 key nonferrous metals deep processing projects: scrap metals disassembly and scrap copper deep processing project of Tianjin Xinneng Recycling Resources Company (annual output: 120,000 tons); scrap metals disassembly and deep processing project of Tianjin Qiantang Recycling Resources Company (annual output of aluminum, copper alloy ingots and deep-processing products:95,000 tons); nonferrous metal alloy and plate processing project of Tianjin Haotai Technology Company (annual sales revenue: RMB 1.6 billion). The above projects have advanced the industrial structuring of the zone from disassembly of scrap electro-mechanical products to deep processing, and driven product transition and upgrade from low added value to high added value.
