Henan Builds a National Precious Metals Smelting Base

On August 22, the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Henan Provincial People’s Government and China National Gold Group Corporation (CNGC) on jointly promoting the gold and non-ferrous metals industries in Sanmenxia was held in Zhengzhou. During the 12th Five-year Plan period, CNGC will invest 29.8 billion yuan to establish production,smelting, and machinery manufacturing bases for gold and non-ferrous metals in Sanmenxia.Under the agreement, the two sides are expected to achieve sales revenue of 135.8 billion yuan, including profit and taxes of 5.5 billion yuan.
Meanwhile, Sanmenxia Industry Cluster signed an investment agreement for a 14.8-billion yuan project with Zhongyuan Gold Smelter Co., Ltd. and China National Gold Group Corporation Construction Co., Ltd. respectively.
