To laugh is to risk appearing a fool;
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental;
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk rejection;
To place your dreams before the crowd is to risk ridicule;
To love is to risk not being loved in return;
To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure;
But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing;
The person who risks nothing does nothing,has nothing,is nothing;
He may avoid suffering and sorrow,but he cannot learn,feel,change,grow or love;
Chained by his certitudes,he is a slave,he has forfeited his freedom;
Only a person who takes risks is free.
大笑,會冒顯得傻氣的風險;
哭泣,會冒顯得傷感的風險;
接觸他人他事,會冒受牽連的風險;
吐露心聲,會冒不被認同的風險;
向大家說出自己的夢想,會冒遭人奚落的風險;
去愛,會冒沒有愛的回應(yīng)的風險;
面對機會勇往直前,會冒失敗的風險。
但是,險是一定要冒的,因為人生中最大的危險的是不冒任何風險。
不冒任何風險的人將一事無成,一無所有,一無是處。
他或許能躲避痛苦與悲傷,卻無從學習、體驗、蛻變、成長和去愛。
不出任何差錯的心態(tài)牽制著他,那他就是個喪失自由的奴隸,
只有敢去冒險的人才是自由的。
