On June 26, 2011, China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group)Co., Ltd. (CNMC)has launched a ground-breaking ceremony for the 0.1-million-ton crude copper smelting project of Chifeng Fubang Copper Company Limited invested by the CNMC in Inner-Mongolia. The project will reap sales revenue of 5.5 billion yuan every year after its first phase is put into operation. Ever since January 26, 2011 when Linxi County government signed a contract of merger between Fubang Copper Company and Dajingzi Mining Company, CNMC has launched a new round of development in Chifeng City.
