TO SPRING

啊，甜蜜的春天，從小天使翅膀上輕降，

Oh, you, sweet spring, alight from cherubs wing,

嚇得討厭的冬天狼狽逃竄；

And put the ugly winter full to flight;

喚醒了萬物———大地微笑，云雀歌唱，

And rouse the earth to smile, and larks to sing,

天空多明亮，青年的心多歡暢。

With skies so bright and hearts of youth so light.

你和煦的呼吸吹開一朵朵花苞，

Your gentle and genial breaths each blossom blow,

引來蜂兒在花園里把催眠曲吟唱。

While bees in gardens hum the lullabies.

山岡和山谷脫去了積雪的斗篷，

The hills and dales are stripped of mantles of snow,

溪澗和河川掙開了冰結(jié)的鐐銬，

And streams and rivers freed from irons of ice,

但愿四季皆春———一年的最好時(shí)光，

May seasons all be spring--the pride of years,

世界萬物就會(huì)永遠(yuǎn)燦爛!

That all the thing would ever gleam!

但愿人人永葆青春年華，

May men be ever in the prime of years!

可是夢(mèng)境再甜蜜，不過是夢(mèng)兒一場(chǎng)。

But dream, however sweet, is but a dream.

如果你來了就快樂，去了就悲傷，

If happy when you come and sad when gone,

倒不如壓根兒別來也別往。

Would that youd never come or never gone!
