I was always wondering how to grow happiness.Fortunately, I came across the answer somewhere.
Step one
Plant yourself deep in a bed of faith, and pack itdown solid and tight. Drench daily with positivethinking, and keep saturated just right. Mulch oftenwith forgiveness, for this will help you grow. Quicklyremove any seeds of worry ,for they will soon germi-nate. Nourish disappointments with hope whenever itis needed, and always stay cool and shaded when youfeel irritated or heated. Trim away guilt or depres-sion, for they create decay, and cultivate with happymemories as often as every day.
Step two
Harvest the lessons of the past ,just dig, pick,and hoe. And nurture the roots of the present, for nowis when you flourish and grow. Start planting for thefuture, set your goals in a row. Spade the bed well forall your dreams to grow.
Step three
Remember that grief is a natural predator,solearn to tolerate some damage. Bury the criticism andcomplaining,for they are injurious pests. Sow theseed of love wherever you may go, for joy, love andlaughter are surely bound to grow. Although thethorns of life may be here to stay ,just sprout a smilealong the way, and be thankful for what you have to-day.
我總是在想如何才能種植幸福。幸運(yùn)的是,我偶然間找到了這個(gè)答案。
步驟一
把自己深深地、牢固地埋在“信念”的土壤里.每天澆灌以“積極”的思想,并始終保持土壤的濕潤(rùn)。經(jīng)常用“寬容”來(lái)護(hù)根,這樣有利于幸福的幼苗成長(zhǎng)。一旦發(fā)現(xiàn)“憂慮”的種子,應(yīng)及時(shí)除掉.否則它們很快就會(huì)生根發(fā)芽。在必要時(shí),用希望來(lái)滋養(yǎng)失望。煩躁不安的時(shí)候,要保持冷靜。修剪掉“愧疚”和“沮喪”的枝葉,否則將很快出現(xiàn)枯枝敗葉。每天用“幸?;貞洝眮?lái)悉心照料幼苗。
步驟二
用挖掘、收割、篩選的方法,從過(guò)往中收獲經(jīng)驗(yàn)。精心照料此時(shí)此刻的根莖,因?yàn)檫@正是旺盛生長(zhǎng)的時(shí)期。為自己設(shè)定計(jì)劃與目標(biāo),著手種植“明天”。翻掘一下泥土,為孕育明天的夢(mèng)想作好準(zhǔn)備。
步驟三
記住,“整日沉浸于悲痛中”會(huì)吞噬你的靈魂,所以要學(xué)會(huì)用寬容應(yīng)付災(zāi)難。將“批評(píng)”與“埋怨”這些害蟲(chóng)掩埋起來(lái)。將愛(ài)的種子播撒到每個(gè)角落,“歡樂(lè)”“愛(ài)”和“微笑”就會(huì)生機(jī)無(wú)限地發(fā)育成長(zhǎng)。哪怕生命中布滿荊棘,也要在一旁種上“微笑”的幼苗。不管一切如何,為今天你所擁有的而心存感激吧!
