We all have a responsibility (責(zé)任) toward those around us and ourselves to ensure （確保） that we all remain (保持) safe in the school environment (環(huán)境).
人人有責(zé)任確保自身及周圍人等在校時始終處于安全環(huán)境之下。
● If (如果) you see anything that could be a danger (危險) to other people, report (報告，通告) it immediately (馬上) to a member of staff.
如發(fā)現(xiàn)任何可能使其他人遭遇危險的情況，應(yīng)該立即向教職工匯報。
● Knives (刀) and other sharp items （利器） are not permitted (允許) in school.
不得攜帶刀和其它利器進入校園。
● Never willfully （故意地） misuse (誤用；濫用) equipment, or tamper （破壞） with things provided for (為……作準(zhǔn)備)safety purposes—such as fire extinguishers (滅火器).
不得濫用和毀壞消防器具——如滅火器。
In an EMERGENCY （緊急情況） the alarm bell （警報器） will sound (響). This will be the continuous (連續(xù)的) ringing of the alarm bell.
緊急情況下將拉響警鈴——長鳴示警。
If you hear the ALARM, follow the emergency code （條例）:
聽到警鈴，請遵循緊急條例：
● Stop (停止) what you are doing and switch off (關(guān)掉) any equipment you are using.
停止手頭一切事務(wù)，關(guān)閉所有正在使用的設(shè)備。
● Close (關(guān)掉) any windows that are near to you.
關(guān)上臨近所有的窗戶。
● Leave (離開) the building by the nearest (最近的) exit (出口).
從最近的出口離開大樓。
● Use any escape route (路線); no areas of the school are out of bounds (范圍) in an EMERGENCY.
使用一切通道逃生；緊急情況下學(xué)校所有區(qū)域均可通行。
● DO NOT run. 不要奔跑。
● DO NOT waste (浪費) time collecting (收集) your possessions （個人物品）.
不要因整理攜帶個人物品耽誤時間。
● Make your way quickly (快速地) and quietly to the assembly （集合） point on the school playground (操場).
迅速安靜地到達學(xué)校操場集中。
● Line up （排隊） quietly and wait for your teacher to take the register （點名）.
安靜地排好隊，等待班級教師點名。
● Wait patiently (耐心地) until (直到) you receive (收到) further instructions (指示).
耐心等待進一步的指示。
If you are the first to notice (注意到) an EMERGENCY:
發(fā)現(xiàn)危險第一人應(yīng)當(dāng)：
1. Raise the ALARM e.g. sound the fire alarm, tell any member of staff. 拉響警報器，如火警報警器；向教職員報告。
2. Make sure (確定) everyone near you is WARNED (被提醒；被通知). 向周圍一切人等示警。
3. Make sure you are SAFE. 確保自身安全。
4. Follow the EMERGENCY code. 謹(jǐn)遵緊急條例。
