關(guān)鍵詞：助動詞復(fù)數(shù)介詞

how many意為“多少”，用來詢問可數(shù)名詞的數(shù)量，后面跟可數(shù)名詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式，常出現(xiàn)在“How many + 可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù) + 助動詞/情態(tài)動詞 + 主語 + 動詞原形 + ...？”結(jié)構(gòu)中。例如：

How many books do you have？ 你有多少本書？

How many cakes would you like to buy？ 你想買多少個蛋糕？

它還出現(xiàn)在“How many + 可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù) + are there + 介詞短語？”結(jié)構(gòu)中。例如：

How many hours are there in a day？ 一天有多少個小時？

How many birds are there in the tree？ 樹上有多少只鳥？

how much的意思也是“多少”，但它后面跟不可數(shù)名詞。它有兩種用法。第一，用來詢問不可數(shù)名詞的數(shù)量，后面跟不可數(shù)名詞。例如：

How much water is there in the bottle？ 瓶子里有多少水？

How much bread do you usually have for breakfast？ 你早餐通常吃多少面包？

第二，用來詢問價格，意為“多少錢”。常出現(xiàn)在“How much + is/are + 主語？”結(jié)構(gòu)中。當(dāng)句子的主語含單數(shù)意義時，用is； 主語含復(fù)數(shù)意義時，用are。 例如：

How much is the watch？ 這塊手表多少錢？

How much are the pants？ 這些褲子多少錢？

鞏固練習(xí)：用how many或how much填空。

3.________ is the chicken？ —Five yuan a kilo.

—They are twenty yuan altogether.
