China sets new standards for dairy industry
Chinas State Council issued a series of qual-ity control regulations for dairy products on Oc-tober 8. The move was prompted by the countryscontaminated milk scandal. The regulations tight-en control of how milk-yielding animals are bred,how raw milk is purchased and the production andsales of dairy food.
