本刊主要刊登以水稻為研究對象的未經(jīng)發(fā)表的英文原始論文、綜述、研究簡報、學術(shù)活動簡訊等，內(nèi)容涉及水稻研究的各個領(lǐng)域。旨在直接對外傳遞和交流水稻科學信息，擴大我國水稻科學研究的國際影響，同時吸收國外水稻研究信息，使之成為我國與國際水稻界有機結(jié)合的一條有效途徑。
