《重慶與世界》由重慶市人民政府外事僑務辦公室主管主辦，重慶市人民政府新聞辦公室指導；2003年中央治理整頓報刊后，重慶市唯一保留的由政府機關主辦的大型涉外綜合性月刊?！吨貞c與世界》自1984年創(chuàng)刊以來，作為“讓重慶走向世界，讓世界了解重慶”的橋梁和紐帶，一直得到中央有關領導，重慶市歷屆領導的重視、關心和支持，贏得各界人士和廣大讀者的充分肯定和贊譽。
