Agricultural Science & Technology （原名Hunan Agricultural Science & Technology Newsletter）創(chuàng)刊于1999年，是我國第一家農(nóng)業(yè)科技綜合類英文期刊，袁隆平主編，湖南省農(nóng)業(yè)科學(xué)院主辦，安徽吳楚科技文化傳播有限責(zé)任公司提供編輯出版支持，2008年為雙月刊，國際公開發(fā)行。國內(nèi)統(tǒng)一刊號CN43-1422/S，國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)刊號ISSN1009-4229。該刊立足國內(nèi)、面向世界，重點(diǎn)宣傳國內(nèi)農(nóng)業(yè)科研實(shí)踐、農(nóng)業(yè)技術(shù)革新的成果；報(bào)道國內(nèi)農(nóng)業(yè)科研及相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的最新進(jìn)展；介紹國內(nèi)特色資源、農(nóng)業(yè)生產(chǎn)與經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展?fàn)顩r，以及我國與國際的農(nóng)業(yè)學(xué)術(shù)交流和貿(mào)易情況。旨在提高我國農(nóng)業(yè)科研的國際影響力，展示我國的技術(shù)實(shí)力和人才優(yōu)勢，更有效地促進(jìn)我國農(nóng)業(yè)科技成果在全世界范圍內(nèi)的交流。該刊在國際上，尤其在亞太地區(qū)獲得了良好的聲譽(yù)，與世界100多個國家和地區(qū)的農(nóng)業(yè)科研教育和推廣機(jī)構(gòu)，實(shí)力雄厚的涉農(nóng)機(jī)構(gòu)及著名的國際農(nóng)業(yè)組織建立了長期、穩(wěn)定、友好的信息交流關(guān)系?，F(xiàn)已被國際權(quán)威檢索工具CABI Full Text數(shù)據(jù)庫、AGRIS文摘數(shù)據(jù)庫以及國內(nèi)中國期刊網(wǎng)、萬方和維普三大數(shù)據(jù)庫全文收錄，并被中國科學(xué)技術(shù)信息所評為“中國科技核心期刊”。刊登的文章也多次被國際植物遺傳資源研究所的(IPGRI)APO Newsletter、亞太種協(xié)的Asian Seed & Planting Material等摘錄或全文轉(zhuǎn)載。 本刊設(shè)農(nóng)業(yè)基礎(chǔ)科學(xué)與方法、植物生理生化、農(nóng)業(yè)生物技術(shù)、農(nóng)藝、動物科學(xué)、植物保護(hù)、園藝·園林、資源與環(huán)境、土壤肥料、農(nóng)業(yè)信息等欄目，內(nèi)容新穎、圖文并茂。本刊為雙月刊，雙月末出版，國際大16開本，銅版紙印刷，四封為彩色印刷。國內(nèi)定價(jià)每冊10元，全年6期共60元（含郵資），自辦發(fā)行。
